In keeping with my policy of getting out more I have recently attended an event at the Nokia Theater in Low Angeles. In this picture I am illuminated by an LED flashlight and the picture is from the same old camera phone so don't expect too much.
The show was Mythbusters Behind The Scenes. There were lots of kids and the dress code was casual for boys while girls wore dresses. When it was time for audience participation, most everybody held up their waiver forms and yelled in a way that reminded me of a Sunday school. The crowd got it together well during the directed choral chanting of numbers going backwards. The empty stage looked like this.
Gonna be a busy week. I'd better take the day off tomorrow off and rest up.

My Lunch Hour
'k,
January 3, 2012 was a one-day-only opportunity for viewing the parade floats. Yours truly used his lunch hour to enjoy some of the floats, and he could have stayed all day. Luckily the Paramount Pix float was on the near end of the mile-long display. Sunshine was beating down from above.
It was possible to get this close to the floats. You can't be in Starfleet unless you have one of these. Does anybody like pins? Whom?
All in all it was a great time during the lunch hour. Then my car broke down.
Fin.
