My computer started doing something weird. Sometimes when I would move the mouse quickly then my work would disappear and the whole screen was a blue background with light blue boxes. I do not need this feature. There are some help screens which directed me to change some mouse settings, I put those links at the end of this post far below.
.The mouse had become too sensitive, I must have hurt his feelings somehow.
Perhaps he is jealous of the touchpad.
Quite by accident I happened to right click on the Taskbar and a menu popped up. I Clicked "Taskbar Settings" way down at the bottom of the menu, and found "Use Peek to preview the desktop.." I turned this feature OFF and the computer works OK again. There has been no return of the extra blue desktop.

These suggestions were somewhat helpful, though the annoying blue screen would still pop up from time to time.
Go to the "Settings" screen and select "Devices", "Mouse & Touchpad", "Additional Mouse Settings" then uncheck "Enhance Pointer Precision" click "Apply"
